Australia Back in Action!

Writer: Surit BhattaraiSurit Bhattarai

Study Abroad sector in Nepal had been hit with a major news at around June 2022. The most unnerving and feared document checklist ever - S56. The worse was the S57 but very few were unlucky enough to receive those.

But with current trend everyone seems to be shouting Australia is back in action! To which I draw a deep breath and say it was never down to begin with. The documentation that the S56 checklist asked were the part of GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) from Day 1. It's just that we hadn't been providing those and now we have to. So is Australia really back in action? I honestly don't know! I have heard visas are coming through. I have heard people promoting 2018/2019/2020 passouts with lower than average IELTS score getting visas for Australia. Heck I have even seen/heard people repeating the same exact pattern that led to this.

But one thing is for sure. Australia is happily welcoming students who have complete documentation and with open arms at that. You provide complete documentation, you provide a good SOP and you check all the boxes and dot the Is and cross the Ts, you should be able to get the visa, no issues. For more information, you can find the checklist of visa related documents at the Department of Home Affairs' website : https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/web-evidentiary-tool Or if you need more information feel free to contact us at hello@gyconepal.com
